| Nav Siddhartha Art Group of Contemporary artists was established in 1990 to create a common platform for the visual artists by organizing exhibitions, camps, workshops, talks and residencies. Our prime motto is to work towards the promotion of art and culture of different regions of India. The group is modeled on not for profit structure and we generate funds from the artists, supporting galleries and art lovers to accomplish these initiatives. We have gathered funds for the welfare of the artists who require monetary help to continue his creative journey and also for the encouragement of upcoming artists by inviting them for the exhibitions, camps and workshops.
This year we have conceptualized and put forward an international exhibition based on the mask, which was highly appreciated by the fellow artists and art lovers. We have created a small sized mask and provide them to the participating artists to paint on them using their own visual language, style, and medium. We are really happy with the outcome and truly believe that all the viewers who will witness this exhibition will appreciate this endeavour.
The purpose of this miniature format exhibition was to create a common hub of artists across the country and also from abroad, which we have achieved. We have got more than 300 artists participating in this exhibition. This is the 4th annual exhibition organized by Nav Siddhartha Art Group. We had received huge appreciation from the artists, students, critics, curators, art collectors, art galleries, and press in the previous years. We have also seen the exponential growth in the number of participation, support and coverage.
Such an exhibition will obviously serve the purpose of cultural Exchange between different cultures and traditions. It will promote Delhi as a city of heritage location as we are hoping to take this exhibition to other parts of the country and also to abroad. It will also create a support system to the Art tourism in India.
